Literary Blog Hop: There’s No Place Like Home

Two Words: Walden Pond. Our dream setting is living in a castle in the mountains. Completely off-the-grid and self-sustainable. A lot of the inspiration comes from knowing that others have absolutely done this, and have been happy.

However, I don’t know if I’d do well without the internet and my laptop. I am very much in love with both of these things. The plan is to get our castle in the mountains and for me to write from home. I know this isn’t an entirely original plan, but it’s my plan, nonetheless. Continue reading

I’m reading “Another Roadside Attraction” by Tom Robbins because my friend, Bruce, recommended it and lent me the book. I’m enjoying it because Tom Robbins writes like a wild man, and the culture he describes reminds me of Burning Man. I love the wild, no-rules, hedonistic culture. Continue reading
